Canada Cartage is looking for an experienced Truck & Trailer Technician to join our maintenance team. We’re seeking a technician with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Journeyperson/Red Seal certification is an asset, but experienced unlicensed technicians may also be considered.

What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections, repairs, and diagnostics.
- Troubleshoot and repair truck and trailer equipment.
- Complete repairs efficiently and to industry standards.
- Maintain secure, clean,
and organized work areas.
- Communicate equipment issues and repair recommendations to management.
- Support and provide guidance to apprentices and other technicians.
- Stay current with new technology and repair practices.
What You’ll Bring
- 6+ years of relevant truck, trailer, fleet, or heavy-duty equipment experience.
- Journeyperson/Red Seal certification is an asset.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- CVIP and On-Road/Off-Road experience are assets.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experienced unlicensed technicians may be considered with 6 years of applicable experience within the last 10 years, including 10,800 hours and 70% of the trade scope.
