Summary

We are seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join our team at BM Finishing and Upholstery Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and restoring upholstered furniture, ensuring high standards of quality and attention to detail. This position is essential to our mission of delivering exceptional products to our clients.

Responsibilities

- Perform upholstery tasks including fabric selection, cutting, sewing, and fitting.
- Restore and repair upholstered furniture to meet quality standards.
- Cut recent pattern to match old pattern.
- Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete upholstery projects.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.




- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of wood products as needed.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an upholsterer or in a similar role for at least 10 years.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, materials, and upholstery techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in upholstery work.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
