Canada's Hardlines team is seeking a self-driven Vendor Manager to join our dynamic team.
Vendor
Managers work directly with strategic vendors to enhance value, selection, and convenience for our customers while driving profitability and topline performance across their categories.
As a Vendor Manager, you'll leverage customer obsession and data-driven analytics to develop creative solutions that drive business growth. You'll manage key manufacturer relationships on Amazon.ca and collaborate with cross-functional teams including site merchandising, buying, pricing, inventory management, operations, online marketing, and finance to optimize performance for our vendor partners.

- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor terms
- Optimize selection, catalog management, and inventory levels
- Generate forecasts and manage product launches
- Own P&L; performance for your category
Collaborate cross-functionally to elevate customer experience As a Vendor Manager, you'll start your day reviewing key business metrics and addressing any immediate vendor issues. You might spend the morning analyzing performance data to identify growth opportunities before joining a negotiation call with a strategic vendor. After lunch, you'll collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to plan upcoming promotions, then meet with finance to review pricing strategies.

Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above
- Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML
- Experience in process improvement
- Experience managing large amounts of data
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.
