- Assist veterinary staff with basic animal handling, restraint, and care during examinations or treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records, update medical histories, and process client documentation securely
- Support laboratory procedures by preparing samples, recording results, and ensuring proper sample handling when needed
- Keep the clinic tidy and organized by sanitizing treatment areas, stocking supplies,
and managing inventory
- Communicate clearly with clients about pet care instructions, upcoming appointments, and follow-up needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related environment is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle animals gently and confidently during examinations or procedures
- Basic computer literacy for managing electronic records and scheduling systems
- Laboratory experience is a plus for assisting with sample collection and processing
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate loads comfortably
