About the Role: Pawomics is looking for veterinary students, DVM candidates, or graduate students in veterinary or animal health-related fields to create short educational videos about dog and cat health.
You’ll share practical, science-based knowledge in a simple and engaging way for everyday pet owners.
This is a flexible freelance opportunity requiring approximately 1–2 short videos per month.
What You’ll Do
Create short vertical videos about topics such as:
- Pet gut health and microbiome
- Probiotics, prebiotics, and postbiotics
- Digestion and stool health
- Nutrition and preventive pet wellness
- Common pet health misconceptions
- Other educational dog and cat health topics
Videos should be approximately 45–60 seconds and filmed in a natural talking-head style.
No editing is required.
You simply record and submit the raw footage. Pawomics will handle editing, captions, graphics, and final production.
Who We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
- Currently studying veterinary medicine, animal health, or a related graduate program
- Comfortable appearing on camera
- Able to explain scientific topics in straightforward, consumer-friendly language
- Interested in pet health, nutrition, microbiome science, or preventive wellness
- Reliable and able to create 1–2 videos per month
Having your own dog or cat is a strong plus, especially if you’re comfortable including them naturally in some videos.
Previous content creation experience is helpful but not required.
Compensation
Paid per approved video. Rate to be discussed based on experience.
Additional performance-based compensation or commission may be available for high-performing content.
