Run the Warehouse & Moving Team for Calgary’s leading luxury home staging company.

Company Overview

Dekora stages and furnishes multi-million-dollar homes across Calgary. Everything we move is beautiful and most of it is expensive. We are hiring a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to lead our moving crew, own our warehouse, and make sure nothing leaves this building that is not right.

This is a working supervisor role. You will be in the truck and on the job site with your crew most days. If you are looking for a clipboard and an office, this is not it. If you are the person who already ends up running the crew whether or not you have the title, keep reading.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

- Leading a crew of 2 to 6 movers on site and in the warehouse
- Verifying every item before it loads — clean, complete, protected. Nothing ships without your sign-off.
- Inventory and scanning accuracy across the whole operation
- Receiving — including international freight for our interior design projects
- End-of-day warehouse reset
- Our 3-ton and 5-ton trucks: safety checks, cleanliness, maintenance scheduling
- Training every new mover to our standard

WHAT WE ARE ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR Four things, and we will test for all of them:

1. Follow-through. Things get finished without anyone chasing you.
2. Checklist discipline. You can run the same routine correctly every day, including the boring days.
3. Peer accountability. You can hold a teammate to a standard without it turning into a fight.
4. Verification mindset. You check. You do not assume.

REQUIREMENTS

- 2+ years leading a crew in moving, warehouse, delivery, event rental, or logistics
- Valid Class 5 licence and a clean driving record — no air brakes or special licence needed
- Physically fit and able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly. You will do this every day.
- Comfortable with inventory software and a smartphone
- Calm under pressure, reliable, and able to motivate a team

WHAT WE OFFER

- $60,000 base salary — guaranteed full-time hours, every week, year round
- Up to $8,000 in performance bonus, paid quarterly at $2,000 against clear objective targets
- $68,000 on target in year one

- Weekdays, 8:30 to 4:30. Occasional evening or weekend work — roughly once a month each.

ABOUT THE MONEY — DO THE MATH BEFORE YOU DISMISS IT If you are currently on an hourly rate and thinking $60,000 sounds like a step sideways, check your actual pay stubs for the last six months.

Hourly moving, warehouse, and delivery work in Calgary is feast or famine. A great hourly rate is worth very little in a slow February. This role is guaranteed full time, every week, year round — plus bonus, plus benefits at three months, plus a defined path to $70,000–$75,000 in year 2.
