Hanover Volkswagen seeks a highly experienced, remote Automotive Warranty Administrator for a targeted 60-day contract The ideal candidate has specific expertise in Volkswagen (VW) systems and will step in smoothly to manage our warranty workflow, transparent outstanding backlogs, and ensure maximum compliance and reimbursement during a temporary transitional period.
Key Responsibilities:
Claim Processing: Prepare, code, and submit VW factory warranty claims strictly adhering to Volkswagen of America/Canada policies and procedures
Schedule Reconciliation: Review and reconcile warranty schedules, identify variances, and resolve short-payments or rejections
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all service repair orders (ROs) have proper technician documentation, diagnostic logs, and required punch times before submission
Backlog Management: Efficiently audit and clear any pending or outstanding claims to optimize dealership cash flow
Parts Management: Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure defective parts are properly tagged, stored, and returned according to VW requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience required. Preference will be given to candidates with minimum 2+ years of recent experience handling Volkswagen automotive warranty claims
Deep familiarity with VW ElsaPro, SAGA/SAGA2, and major dealership management systems, especially PBS
Expert knowledge of the Volkswagen Warranty Policy and Procedures
Exceptional accuracy in coding, typing, and verifying technical repair descriptions
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision

This role is required on a full-time, contract basis
Work Location: Remote The compensation for this role is $21-$25/hour (based on experience)
This compensation encompasses base salary and vacation pay as required under Ontario Regulation 476/24 made under the Employment Standards Act, 2000.
