Xcode Cloud is a continuous integration and continuous delivery service integrated into Xcode and App Store Connect, created to improve and enhance the development process for the Apple developer community. As a Xcode Cloud Distributed Systems Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of Apple platform development.
You will build tools used by millions of developers around the world to build, test, and ship software for Apple's iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS platforms.
We're seeking a dedicated engineer to help build the future of development technologies at Apple. Our small, focused team builds the features and services that power Xcode Cloud, delivering recent capabilities to our external developer community.
In this role, you'll design and implement features and services that form the essential foundation of our service infrastructure and security. You'll work closely with the broader developer tools organization to deliver features that cut across the entire developer ecosystem.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Strongly typed or functional programming languages (such as: Kotlin, Scala, Java, Swift, etc)
- Designing, developing, debugging, deploying and operating cloud-based software services
Preferred Qualifications
- Drafting project proposals and design documents to facilitate communication with the team and stake-holders
- Understanding of design patterns for distributed, micro-service systems
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent; 3+ years of relevant work experience; experience with strongly typed or functional programming languages such as Kotlin, Scala, Java, or Swift; experience designing, developing, debugging, deploying, and operating cloud-based software services.
