Matonabee Petroleum Ltd is searching for 2 Bulk Petroleum Delivery Drivers to join the team. If you are an experienced Class 3Q driver and thrive in a busy environment, we want to hear from you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivering fuel and Propane products to our customers based in Yellowknife and the surrounding area
- Safely handle and secure packaged oil products and totes as needed for pumping off oil
- Loading at bulk plant; offload at client sites
- Demonstrate protected and defensive driving practices
- Execute minor mechanical/roadside repairs as required
- Complete logbooks and related administrative paperwork
- Maintain ongoing professional communication with dispatchers and admin staff
- Build a rapport of excellence by delivering superior customer service.
Position Requirements:
- Valid Class 3Q driver’s license minimum, with a clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 3 years driving experience
- Minimum 1 year experience handling Fuel and/or Propane
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and time management skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willing and able to work overtime and on-call as needed
- Willing to switch between Fuel or Propane as needed for deliveries
- Must pass a company-approved medical examination, including drug and alcohol testing.
- 1Q License holders are welcome to apply; however, the starting wage will align with 3Q rates, and no additional pay will be provided for the higher qualification.
