Electrician .
In this role you will beresponsible for overseeing the daily maintenance and repair of a variety of machinery and equipment within our facility.
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve :
Perform
electrical
maintenance,
troubleshooting,
and
repairs
on production equipment, machinery, automated systems, and plant facilities to ensure protected and reliable operation.
Diagnose
and
resolve
equipment
failures
involving PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, relays, motor controls, VFDs, conveyors, and other automated manufacturing systems to minimize downtime.
Execute
preventive
and
predictive
maintenance
programs , identifying recurring issues and implementing corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
Support
equipment
installation,
commissioning
and
continuous
improvement
projects , including machinery upgrades, modifications, and optimization of existing systems.
Ensure
compliance
with
electrical,
safety,
and
regulatory
standards
by following lockout/tagout procedures, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and collaborating with production, engineering, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
If you have/are:
Valid
Electrician
Certificate
of
Qualification
(309A
Construction
&
Maintenance
Electrician
or
442A
Industrial
Electrician)
required.
Minimum
of
3-5
years
of
industrial
maintenance
experience , with strong expertise in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment and electrical systems.
Thorough
knowledge
of
the
Ontario
Electrical
Safety
Code , lockout/tagout procedures, preventive maintenance practices, and industrial safety standards.
Strong
technical
skills
in
electrical
controls
and
automation , including PLC troubleshooting, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, hoist cranes, motors, and control systems.
Working
knowledge
of
industrial
facility
systems , including boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and the ability to coordinate and monitor work performed by external contractors and vendors.

Rate for the role: $44.48/hr (plus shift premiums and COLA)
This position replaces an existing role.
