This full time management position will ensure the highest levels of efficiency, accuracy, confidentiality and security in accordance with Company and BCLC standards. This position reports directly to the Director of Cage Operations and the Cage Manager.Minimum of one year experience as a Full-Time Cage Supervisor is an assetPrevious management experience an assetSuccessful completion of probationary period, mandatoryAdministration duties as assigned (data entry, auditing, account reconciliations,
discrepancy investigations)Assists in the disciplinary process of Cage Associates, including the issuance of disciplinary action, as requiredCarries out daily Vault management and reconciliation including operational depositsCompiles daily gaming revenue reconciliation and reportsEffectively resolves customer disputes, upholding company customer service and integrity standardsKnowledge of all promotions and eventsManagement of all cash counting and cash redemption equipment (bill counting equipment, TRM’s, Cash Recycler)Manages ATM float and monitors and reconciles cash in ATM terminalsManagement of cash and cash assets in all cagesManages Wire Transfers, EFT, PGF, Bank Drafts, Verified Win, Convenience and PGF chequesManages, directs, delegates and assists Cage Associates to ensure that a high standard of accuracy, efficiency and customer service is maintained at all timesManages the Count Team and daily operations of the Drop CountManages Time and AttendanceMonitors operations and activities within the Cage Department, and assists/coordinates Cage staff during opening, closing and handoverPerforms and assists in job performance evaluationsVerification of transactionsMaintains a good rapport with all departmentsAttends ongoing job training when requiredResponsible for providing professional and exceptional customer service in accordance with established company standardsResponsible for supervising, documenting and coaching all Team Members under your direct supervision to ensure they are adhering to the company customer service standardsCoaches, mentors,
and develops staffReports all operational exceptions / concerns to the DirectorEnsures adherence to BCLC and IGCO’s standards at all timesUpdates and communicates any policy related mattersCounterfeit recognitionEnsures AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policies are adhered toAll other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEPost-secondary education in business administration or other applicable field is an assetAccounting designation is an assetDemonstrated exceptional customer relationsProven superior customer service experienceDemonstrated strong analytical and mathematical abilitiesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-taskExtensive knowledge of operational procedures as they pertain to the Cage departmentFlexible work schedule to accommodate operational needs of a casino environment, must be available to work overnight shiftsStrong computer skills and knowledge of MS OfficeStrong leadership qualities with a high ability for conflict resolution, effective decision-making and directing staff diplomaticallyCERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES REQUIREMENTSAbility to obtain a valid GAMW LicenseAbility to complete all BCLC Certifications including AML, ART1, ART2, Privacy Awareness, and Lottery CertificationServing it Right CertificationPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to lift, handle, and transport objects up to 20 lbsRequired to sit, stand and walk during working hours.At Parq Casino, we believe in fostering a culture of connection, care, responsibility and sustainability with our players, our people, our place and our partners.
