Production Manager – Calgary Work Environment This is a full-time in office position, working 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday). Qualifications Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related business discipline Extensive hands‑on experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Experience in a high-tech/electronics manufacturing environment preferred 10+ years of operational leadership experience, managing 80+ direct and indirect staff across multiple manufacturing departments Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements Robust leadership, project management, and communication skills Strong organizational, planning, and problem‑solving abilities The Opportunity With cutting‑edge facilities in Calgary, Canada, and Tempe, USA, Our Client is a leading force in electronics manufacturing. evolving environments Passionate about building strategic projects that drive performance and process improvement across the organization Committed to safety, quality, and productivity in everything you do A strong communicator who connects effectively with a diverse workforce at all levels Eager to understand, and improve processes to advance continuous improvement and operational excellence Detail‑oriented with a growth mindset A go‑getter who can motivate teams to embrace meaningful change Applies Lean/Six Sigma principles consistently to build an efficient, reliable work environment Responsibilities Lead daily operations to meet production targets, delivery schedules, and quality standards Plan, coordinate, and adjust production schedules based on workload, manpower, machine capacity, and delivery requirements Monitor job progress and shop performance; identify bottlenecks ordelays and take corrective action Drive production performance reviews and corrective actions when targets are missed Use production tracking and ERP systems to monitor job status, labour, and overall production performance Champion the development of Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement culture Contribute significantly to the development and execution of the company's manufacturing strategic plan Support the development and use of standard work practices, procedures, and training materials Manage budgets and drive cost reduction across manufacturing operations Collaborate with quality, engineering, and management teams to align production priorities and resolve issues Lead, mentor, and develop shop personnel while fostering a positive, accountable, team‑oriented culture Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing performance feedback for shop employees, in coordination with management and HR Set clear expectations and provide ongoing guidance to support employee performance and skill development Lead OH&S (Occupational Health & Safety) initiatives within the facility Contract Info / Information sur le contrat Job ID / No. du Poste: Open Positions / Postes Ouverts: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
