Undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and directly related environmental work experience may be considered. Master's degree in Environmental Sciences or a related field preferred. Minimum five (5) years of recent practical experience related to the environmental field. Minimum two (2) years of teaching experience or equivalent instructional experience, preferably in a post-secondary or college environment. Minimum one (1) year of laboratory experience within the past three (3) years. Experience teaching in laboratory and field-based environments. Knowledge of environmental monitoring, environmental legislation, sustainability practices, GIS, water quality, ecosystem management, or related environmental disciplines. Experience supervising field activities and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.



Membership or eligibility for membership in relevant environmental professional associations. Strong industry connections and experience collaborating with community and employer partners. Previous post-secondary teaching experience informed by excellence with various learning theories and methods Highly effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting Demonstrated knowledge and experience in learning management systems, as well as theuse of remote delivery and educational technologies Previous teaching experience is an asset Must be able to reliably commute to the College Drive Campus in North Bay, ON required Responsibilities:
