We are seeking a dedicated electrician to join the Facilities Services department permanently. This role involves performing journeyperson-level electrical work across our 53 facilities. You will use your knowledge and skills to maintain, install, and repair vital electrical components while supporting the learning workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform electrical installations, upgrades, and repairs
• Respond to electrical emergencies efficiently
• Develop technical drawings and job plans
• Offer expert advice to district personnel
• Maintain and operate district vehicles and equipment
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• BC TQ/Red Seal Certification in Electrical
• Two years of journey-level experience required
• In-depth understanding of current electrical practices
• Class 5 BC Driver's License as a must
