Canada Post is recruiting for dependable, organized individuals to deliver mail on an on-call basis to communities serviced by the Mildmay and Formosa Post Offices in Ontario. Sort, collect, and deliver mail items in a safe and timely manner Acquire and maintain knowledge of local infrastructure including roads, customers, and delivery receptacles Ensure mail is safely secured in your possession at all times Process various Canada Post products and services (Change of Address Notification, Damaged Mail, Items Delivered Bill, and others)



Wear Canada Post identification while on delivery and ensure its visibility Lift and carry items up to 50 lb / 22.7 kg Make deliveries and operate a motor vehicle in all kinds of weather and traffic conditions Vehicle Requirements

Satisfactory secure driving record Valid permanent provincial driver's licence — Class 5 or G Minimum cargo capacity of 50 cu ft (1,415 litres) Automatic transmission Power windows Metal roof-top and accessory power outlet for Canada Post sign and flashing light Fifth door/hatchback preferred Adequate automobile liability insurance for use of vehicle while employed at Canada Post Requirements

Pass an interview Provide a current driver's abstract dated within the last 30 days if selected Applicants residing within 75 km of the Mildmay Post Office are preferred Valid Class 5 or G driver's licence; satisfactory driving record; personal vehicle meeting Canada Post cargo and equipment specifications; experience making deliveries in various weather conditions.
