As the head of the strategic research team, your responsibilities will include assessing the impact of the teams research outcomes on the companys business performance and research community, attracting top-notch talent to join the team, and promoting team well-being. Additionally, you must possess sound technical judgment to guide your team in making the right technical trade-offs, as well as excellent product and technical instincts to ensure that the team focuses on the most critical projects.

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US and Canada locations are categorized into compensation zones based on each geographic region’s cost of labor index. Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.
United States:
Zone 1: $337,000 - $403,000/year (USD)
Zone 2: $303,000 - $363,000/year (USD)
Zone 3: $286,000 - $343,000/year (USD)
Zone 4: $270,000 - $322,000/year (USD)
Canada:
Zone 1: $289,000 - $372,000/year (CAD)
Zone 2: $246,000 - $316,000/year (CAD)
