Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for Catastrophe Adjusters to join our WorkForce Advantage team in Canada. The successful candidate will investigate, evaluate, negotiate and settle Property Catastrophe (CAT) claims by telephone and correspondence. The candidate has the ability to work effectively with insureds, adjusters, clients and more. The candidate will provide excellent customer service and ensure accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files.As part of the Workforce Advantage team, you would be on our roster to be contacted and placed on a contract with our clients based on availability and fit. You would be an employee of Crawford & Co. but would be working at other insurance company offices/sites (remotely). The role would be a contract position typically 3-12 months in length with the possibility of the contract being extended or being offered a permanent position with the client in the end. The salary range is $65,000 to $80,000 annually.ResponsibilitiesInvestigation, collection, and analysis of claims informationAccurate recording,



reporting and presentation of filesExamines policies and settles claims while maintaining claims costs and abiding by provincial licensing regulationsMaintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense recordsWork with managers to maintain client relationsQualifications3+ years of technical claims handling experience in a catastrophe environmentValid Provincial Adjusters Licence and/or CIP Designation is requiredAbility to work in a fast pace, high pressure environmentMust be able to travel on short notice and remain on location for indefinite periods.In most cases, Catastrophe Adjusters are responsible for their own travel and living expenses while on assignment.Ability to climb and be able to lift up to 40 lbs.Licenses & Certifications recommended.Knowledge of Xactimate/Xactware preferred.Knowledge of Mitchell preferred for auto adjusters.High school diplomaMinimum 3 years experience.Positive communication skills, organizational ability, technical knowledge, and computer skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
