What is the opportunity?AsJob DescriptionAs Lead Data Engineer in Investor & Treasury Services Data Engineering team within Technology and operations office, you will design, implement, and support enterprise data architecture best practices and processes across the global Investor and Treasury Services organization, aligning with corporate vision. We seek a strategic thinker and passionate data management leader to drive data strategy execution, including Azure Databricks infrastructure management, Power BI optimization, analytics administration, workspace governance, and reporting infrastructure to enable self-service analytics at scale.As a member of a dynamic, fast-paced team, this role demands strong data architecture and engineering expertise, advanced analytics platform leadership, exceptional communication skills, strong work ethic, and demonstrated ability to multitask effectively in changing environments.What Will You Do?This role encompasses end-to-end system oversight from data sourcing, lineage, transformation, and storage through Azure Databricks governance and Power BI analytics optimization to support complex advanced analytics and data governance needs, requiring extensive collaboration with Business Architecture, System Architecture, Business SMEs, and Data Stewards.Build real-time data pipelines (inbound, outbound) through container-based solutions and Azure DatabricksIntegrate data with cloud-based platforms; publish data through APIs and PortalManage Azure Databricks clusters, compute resources, and workspace optimization for scalable data processingOptimize Power BI reporting infrastructure, semantic models, and dashboard performance across the organizationEstablish Power BI administration best practices, workspace governance frameworks, and user access managementManage analytics workspaces, capacity planning, and optimization to support enterprise self-service analyticsParticipate in data curation requirements; support data and digital needs of business and technology stakeholdersEvaluate current state of data access control (authentication, authorization, encryption)



across I&TS systems; develop and support remediation strategiesWork in agile teams with Data Engineers, Developers, and RBC business stakeholdersCollaborate with data scientists, process engineers, and business stakeholders on requirement gathering; assist with prescriptive and predictive analytics through consolidated data pipelines leveraging Azure DatabricksWhat You Need To SucceedMust Have:7+ years of experience in data engineering with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in system integration, data and cloud architecture, and technologies listed below:Data Engineering: Python, Kafka, MS SQL Server, Elasticsearch stack, Azure DatabricksCloud and Containers: Azure (ADLS2, Azure Databricks), OpenShift, DockerSQL/Database: Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, Stored proceduresAPI: Node.JS, ApigeePower BI & Analytics: Power BI (report development, semantic modeling, workspace administration, capacity management), DAX, Power QuerySecurity frameworks: LDAP, Kerberos, OAuth 2.0, Vault integrationStrong knowledge of algorithms and data structuresDemonstrated experience with Azure Databricks cluster management, Delta Lake, and Spark optimizationNice to Have:Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experienceAutomation/DevOps: Jenkins, Selenium, and similar technologiesSource code control: GITExperience working in agile/SaFe environmentAdvanced Power BI certifications (Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or similar)What's in It for You?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
