Empower youth at Child Development Institute as a SNAP Boys Youth Clubs Facilitator. This casual role focuses on leading activities, promoting mental health, and fostering leadership skills in a supportive setting.
CDI is seeking a dedicated Casual SNAP Boys Youth Clubs Facilitator from October 1, 2026 to June 18, 2027. You will work with youth aged 11-18, facilitating weekly clubs that utilize the SNAP Framework. This role requires flexibility for evening shifts, supporting youth in building confidence, social skills, and pro-social plans while maintaining safe, engaging activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead weekly SNAP Boys Youth Clubs and activities • Communicate regularly with families for progress updates • Support youth in developing leadership and personal skills • Accompany youth on community outings and field trips • Document program plans, reports, and evaluations
Requirements: • University/College Diploma in Child and Youth Work • 2+ years of child and youth work experience • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office • Ability to multitask and problem-solve effectively • Connection to diverse backgrounds is an asset
