The Program Assistant is pivotal in supporting daily operations and client services at Bentley Place. You'll assist clients with life skills, emotional support, medication reminders, and engage in recreational activities. This role requires multi-tasking, strong interpersonal skills, and adherence to established care plans while maintaining detailed records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide feedback on client needs and progress
• Assist clients with life skills development
• Administer medication and provide reminders
• Lead social and recreational client activities
• Maintain records and documentation accurately
Requirements:
• Grade 12 and Community Social Service Certificate
• 1 year experience with marginalized populations
• Criminal records check and health screenings required
• First Aid and CPR certification necessary
• Completion of Nonviolent crisis intervention training
