In this role, you will develop a legal compliance framework and support advisory services related to regulatory requirements and governance. The Legal Counsel position requires 4-5 years of legal experience, with at least 2 years in a national law firm and 2 years in-house. You'll work closely with various stakeholders to build a client-focused culture and ensure all initiatives align with legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:



• Develop a robust legal compliance framework • Support compliance-related training initiatives • Provide advisory legal services on regulatory matters • Review and negotiate contracts for services • Conduct compliance risk assessments as necessary

Requirements: • Canadian LLB/JD and Ontario Call • 4-5 years of relevant legal experience • Experience in compliance programs and commercial contracting • Robust analytical and communication skills • Proficient with Office 365 and Adobe Professional
