Alberta.RESPONSIBILITIESComply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standardsSelect type of pipe, size of pipe, and systems by applying knowledge of system operation and following blueprintsConstruct support hangers and hydraulic cylinders according to specificationsUtilize pipe bending tools or machines to bend pipePerform pressure tests by increasing pressure in pipe systems and observing pressure gauges to test for leaksEnsure that holes cut in pipe will not cause structural weaknessConnect pipe utilizing threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, or fused joints and hand toolsInstall and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic components of machines and equipment, such as pumps and cylindersCut pipe utilizing saws, pipe cutting machines, cutting torch, etc.Secure pipe with brackets, clamps, and hangarsAttend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetingsMay perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSMust be an Alberta ticketed journeyman (or hold a journeyman certificate recognized by AIT)CSTS-09 and/or CSOH2S considered an assetAble to work well in a team environmentMust be physically able to lift 50lbs and climb in/under units in the fieldOrganized and self-motivatedPre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment#J-18808-Ljbffr
