As a Utilities Accountant, you will report to the Accounting Manager and collaborate with teams across Accounting, FP&A;, AP/AR, and Operations. Your responsibilities will include preparing account reconciliations, assisting with budgeting, and supporting audits. This hands-on position thrives on attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:



• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations and analyses • Create recurring journal entries and documentation • Reconcile subledgers with general ledger accounts • Assist in month-end asset accounting and depreciation • Support preparation of financial statements and disclosures

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance • 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience • Foundational knowledge of ASPE and US GAAP • Experience in regulated environments preferred • Strong Excel skills and ERP experience
