From 21 offices in 9 countries, with projects in over 80 locations worldwide, we create sustainable outcomes for our people, clients and communities.Our team in Canada is growing; we are currently recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Layout Designer with experience in the mining industry to join the team at our Vancouver or Calgary Office.ResponsibilitiesPrepare mechanical layouts: study level and execution level drawings in line with project requirementsDevelopment of mechanical layouts in a 3D environmentProduce layout relevant deliverables such as site layouts, general arrangements and detailed drawingsDeliver design drawings according to project-specific design criteria as well as the defined regulations, codes, and standardsMaintain consistent design drafting standards across projects by communicating expectations and holding project members to account for standardsSupport proposal managers in providing input into the proposal and estimatesFacilitate and ensure interdisciplinary coordination when developing layouts or modelsComply with all Ausenco corporate policies and procedures by adopting Ausenco Quality Assurance and Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policies, procedures and requirementsQualificationsAdvanced diploma or equivalent in mechanical engineering technology12+ years of experience in mechanical design draftingExperience in mechanical design and layout of mineral processing plants within a large project,
