Assignment:

- Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
- Courseload to include: Grade 9 Social Studies, Social Studies 20-2 and two sections of Social Studies 10-1
- Duties will commence August 26, 2026 and will continue until January 4, 2027

Qualifications:

- Experience teaching Social Studies would be considered an asset
- Experience at the Junior/Senior level would be considered an asset
- Experience and ability to differentiate instruction for a variety of student needs
- Passion for education and commitment to student success.
- Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills
- Assessment literate
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong classroom management skills




- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
- An understanding of High School Redesign Principles, the Collaborative Response Model, and Differentiation would be considered an asset
- Ability to teach in a versatile learning environment.
