A career as an Advisor in the Special Loans Unit means seeing files identified as "high-risk" for the Capital Markets and Commercial Banking (commercial Banking) sectors in general administration. Managing the administration of a high risk portfolio while maintaining compliance and oversight.Your jobAssist Senior Directors with various administrative tasks such as setting up new loans, loan renewals, monitoring overdrafts, monitoring account activities and providing debt statements, as needed.Ensure that files comply with the Bank's standards and standards.Oversee a portfolio of loans by following up on payments and security maturities and reporting any irregularities to the manager responsible.Establish and maintain frequent communications with various parties involved in files: Lawyers, clients, consultants, etc.Manage reserve and non-current loan records in non-current loan management systems.Your teamYou are part of a team of 10 colleagues in the Special loan Unit sector and will report to the Senior Director – loan Administration. Our team stands out for the diversity of exceptional cases and situations, which keeps advisors motivated!PrerequisitesCollege diploma and 3 years of experience or bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of relevant experienceExperience in the administrative processing of commercial and/or corporate filesAbility to manage several files simultaneously and within tight deadlinesKnowledge of the Bank's various transaction systems (LIS, LoanIQ, CO, etc.)Knowledge of the various collateral on loans, an assetLanguages: English. Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.Required skills:
