Part-Time Permanent HousekeeperWA Day Elementary School, Fort MacleodLivingstone Range School Division is accepting applications for a Part time Permanent Housekeeper (4 hours per day) at WA Day Elementary School located in Fort Macleod, AB. The shift starts after 3:30 pm; Monday to Friday, with the possibility of additional hours in evenings or on weekends.The applicant must be able to communicate and interact positively with the public, co-workers, staff, and administration to ensure all needs are addressed at the site.Typical duties of a Housekeeper include but are not limited to:Cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting washrooms, fixtures, and partitionsCleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting furniture, counters, doors, and other surfacesDusting and cleaning windows and window coveringsOperating and maintaining custodial equipmentSweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining floorsLocking doors and windows and securing of Division buildingsGarbage collection and nightly removalPreventative maintenance – tightening furniture or changing light bulbsSnow and ice removal from doorways if neededHousekeeping work may include physical demands, e.G., lifting chairs, moving furniture or boxes of materials, and climbing stairs/ladders. The daily work routine involves the use of various cleaning chemicals.This position will report to the Health and Safety Coordinator or designate, the School Head Custodian as well as the School Principal.
