Elevate Rocky View Schools as a Senior Insurance and Enterprise Risk Specialist, focusing on risk management and insurance for a thriving educational setting. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety of students and assets in a full-time capacity.
In this position, you will lead initiatives related to insurance, claims, and enterprise risk management for Rocky View Schools. Reporting to the Executive Director, your expertise in risk identification and mitigation will protect the Division’s interests while collaborating with external partners and insurers. This role requires regular travel around the division.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management of the insurance portfolio and policy renewals.
• Conduct trend analysis and reporting for the ERM program.




• Liaise with insurers and brokers for claims management.
• Monitor emerging risks and insurance market trends.
• Evaluate rental and leasing agreements for insurance implications.
Requirements:
• Degree in Risk Management, Insurance, or related field.
• At least 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred CRM and valuable CIP designations.
• Proven ability in claims investigations and policy management.
• Strong analytical skills for risk assessment and reporting.
Lead the charge in establishing robust insurance practices at RVS to support student safety and organizational effectiveness.
