FedEx is seeking an experienced P&D; Operations Manager at its Medicine Hat, Alberta location. This is a temporary position up to 1 year with Federal Express Corporation Canada.

Role Summary: To supervise, coordinate and control Pick-Up and Delivery Operations within the service area of the station to achieve maximum service objectives. To supervise, coordinate and control warehouse and ramp operations to achieve maximum service objectives.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily Pick-Up and Delivery Operations across the station's service area
- Oversee warehouse and ramp operations to meet FedEx service objectives
- Lead and support team members in performing their duties safely and effectively
- Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where needed
- Ensure compliance with FedEx policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Complete mandatory training and maintain required annual accreditations
- Operate in a PC Windows setting using MS Office tools
- Work varying shifts based on business needs

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Four (4)



years FedEx or industry experience
- Demonstrated basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Must currently be a member of FedEx management or LEAP/EXCEL endorsed
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs. with appropriate equipment
- Bilingual (French and English) if residing in Quebec
