We're adding 90,000+ sq. ft. to our facility and investing in exciting new technology as we continue to grow. With this expansion comes an exciting opportunity—we are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Structural Junior Drafter to join our growing team.Reporting to the Drafting Supervisor, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings for structural steel components including beams, columns, stairs, and handrails. Reporting to the Drafting Supervisor, this role supports the fabrication process by producing models, cut lists, and CNC files using drafting software. If you are a motivated, reliable individual looking to grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesMaintain excellent attendance recordPrepare detail drawings of part drawings, assembly drawings, etc.Provide fabrication with cut lists and CNC data files for the fabrication processModel small miscellaneous itemsPrioritize, organize and maintain assigned projects to maintain set schedules. Any changes to projects or schedules should be communicated with our management teamIdentify and assist in the facilitation of continual improvement processes in support of company goalsCreate drawings for field installationImport model information into ERP systemThis job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties.
