Become an influential Steamfitter/Pipefitter Instructor at Northern Lights College, teaching skilled trades in a supportive setting. This position focuses on delivering training across all levels of the Steamfitting/Pipefitting program.

NLC is looking for a dedicated instructor to guide students from foundation to apprenticeship in the Steamfitter/Pipefitter trade. This role requires a minimum of five years of industry experience along with a Red Seal Endorsement. The instructor's impact will play a crucial role in the students' successful completion of the SkilledTrades BC requirements.

Key Responsibilities:



• Deliver comprehensive training in Steamfitting and Pipefitting • Support students in achieving their certification requirements • Collaborate with faculty to enhance learning outcomes • Maintain current knowledge of industry practices • Develop engaging instructional materials

Requirements: • Steamfitter/Pipefitter Certificate of Qualification with Red Seal • Minimum Class B Gasfitter Certificate • Five years of industry experience as a journeyperson • Exceptional communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiency • Commitment to student-centered success
