In this full-time role, you will collaborate with the Director of Development, Drama, to cultivate compelling narratives and manage projects throughout their development stages. Emphasizing relationship-building with talent and producers, your work will stand at the intersection of creativity and cultural relevance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead evaluations of storytelling pitches and creative projects
• Negotiate with writers and producers on script adjustments
• Generate insightful coverage of material for production reviews
• Participate in public panels and workshops promoting CBC
• Stay updated on industry standards and audience preferences
Requirements:
• University degree or equivalent preferred
• Five years of industry experience needed
• Depth of knowledge in scripted media and trends
• Strong grasp of production processes and team-oriented communication
• Commitment to fostering inclusivity in storytelling
