As an experienced Pipeline Technician, you will operate, maintain, test, and inspect pipelines, ensuring compliance with operational needs and safety regulations. Based in our Northern Ontario Mainline / TQM Operations group, this role involves executing maintenance programs and supporting compressor operations while adhering to on-call rotating schedules and overtime eligibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform inspections and repairs on valves and actuators • Plan and lead pipeline isolation and gas handling activities • Conduct pipeline purging and pressure return procedures • Support transfer compressor operations for pipeline activities • Execute preventative and corrective maintenance tasks
Requirements: • Journeyman certification or related training • 5 years of relevant pipeline work experience • Strong mechanical skills and safety record • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
