Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. This role involves performing tire services, oil changes, and basic maintenance to ensure customer vehicles are operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and experience working with automotive repair tools and equipment.

Duties
Perform tire rotations, replacements, balancing, and repairs with precision and attention to safety standards
Conduct oil changes and fluid top-offs using appropriate tools and techniques
Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as filter replacements and inspections
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently
Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Identify potential mechanical issues during routine services and communicate findings to the service team
Support sales efforts by recommending additional maintenance or repair services when appropriate
Requirements
Previous dealership or mechanic experience is highly preferred
Robust mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as required for tire handling and vehicle servicing
Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
Basic understanding of automotive repair processes and safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
Prior experience with sales or upselling automotive services is a plus
