Duties
Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods efficiently and safely to designated locations
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
Load and unload cargo using proper techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip




Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to uphold a protected working setting

Skills
Proven experience in driving heavy vehicles with a clean driving record
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance basics
Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS or route planning tools
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively
Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform manual tasks as needed
