Join North Bay Regional Health Centre as a Youth Worker and support mental health initiatives for children and adolescents. This role focuses on crisis stabilization and therapeutic engagement with youth and families. In this position within the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program, you will deliver essential assessments and treatments while being a crucial member of a multidisciplinary team.

You will develop safety plans and facilitate various therapeutic activities, both individually and in groups. Your communication skills and crisis management abilities will have a lasting impact on young clients and their families. Key Responsibilities:
Assess and stabilize crisis situations for youth and families
Create and execute safety plans and therapeutic programs




Lead individual and group sessions targeting mental health needs
Engage collaboratively with healthcare specialists
Implement withdrawal management strategies Requirements:
Completion of a Child and Youth Worker Diploma
Registered with the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Counsellors
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
Minimum two years of relevant experience preferred
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential Utilize your expertise to foster mental health and safety in a supportive setting.
