Intermediate Contract Administrator to support the administration and procurement activities of contract composition, contract law and dispute resolution with our utilities client
Our power & utilities client is seeking a Intermediate Contract Administrator to support the administration and procurement activities of contract composition, contract law and dispute resolution with our utilities client Candidates can be located in Calgary or Edmonton - Hybrid model of 3 days in-office and 2 days WFH Must Haves 5+ years of experience as a contract administrator
focusing on procurement ,
contract management , or project management
initiatives. Experience in
Contract law ,
dispute resolution , and contract composition (RFI ,
RFQ ,
RFP) , and the competitive bidding
process Knowledge of
Project scheduling ,
project financial reporting , and
contract compliance High School Diploma with post-secondary courses in contract management/contract law or diploma in business, supply chain management, law, or contract management Nice to Have Certified Construction Contract Administration (CCCA) Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation AESO Procurement rules for AESO Direct Assign projects Responsibilities Review contracts for goods and services to identify responsibilities, deliverables, and contractual actions Prepare and monitor contract deliverable matrices for vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders Develop project risk registers by identifying contract risks and mitigation measures Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with contract terms, policies, procedures, and legislation Verify change requests and determine requirements for change orders or contract amendments Resolve contract issues, claims, and disputes through supplier negotiations Maintain contract documentation including SharePoint records, contract management logs, change logs,
