The Manitoba Government invites applicants for full time Child and Family Service Worker positions, focusing on statutory child welfare in Winnipeg. In this role, you will formulate case plans, conduct abuse investigations, and collaborate with community resources to support children and families.
You will also engage in after-hour services, ensuring care and safety during emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct intakes and assessments for child welfare
Develop and maintain case plans for client safety
Collaborate with collateral services and agencies
Manage child protection and family service cases
Provide after-hours support to families in need
Requirements:
Degree in social sciences, preferably BSW
Proven ability to identify signs of abuse
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Robust written and verbal communication abilities
Valid Manitoba Class 5F Driver’s license
