Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Shop Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various physical tasks to assist in all areas of our shop This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength and stamina.

Responsibilities
Cut wire rope and bend strands to meet specifications
Operate Coiler to run reels /coils of wire rope
Build & Inspect Chain sling assemblies
Ensure a quality product is produced, as per the company quality standards
Organize, clean, and ensure overall maintenance of the rigging workspace
Maintain an efficient production speed with minimal quality issues
Help out in the Rope Department when required
Help out in the Testing Department when required
Ensure inventory is stored in an appropriate manner

Qualifications:




Previous experience or knowledge with wire rope and chain is considered an asset
Able to safely lift 50 lbs. from floor level to waist level
Able to operate a Forklift in a protected manner
Solid work ethic and ability to work well in a team workplace
Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Please note that this is a physically demanding position that requires the ability to perform manual labor.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
