Centre is seeking a Clinical Social Worker for the Overlook Supportive Housing project. Your experience will enhance tenant well-being through comprehensive assessments and targeted interventions that address the unique challenges faced by marginalized populations. Key Responsibilities:
Develop individualized care plans based on tenant assessments
Collaborate with housing teams to provide holistic support services
Offer educational resources and facilitate therapeutic groups
Navigate crisis situations and provide immediate support
Continuously assess effectiveness of interventions and adjust strategies Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited university
Active registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers
2+ years in clinical or community social work
Experience in trauma-informed care and therapeutic approaches
Knowledge of cultural practices pertinent to diverse populations Support marginalized individuals in building healthier lives through compassion and dedicated social work practices.
