Job Summary

Join our agile team as a Snow Removal Operator and become a vital part of maintaining protected, accessible outdoor spaces during winter months. In this energetic role, you will operate snow removal equipment, and ensure driveways, are transparent and safe for visitors, and residents. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will help us deliver reliable winter services that keep operations running smoothly regardless of the weather.

Duties
Operate tractors with specialized equipment to efficiently clear snow and ice from residential driveways
Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of machinery to ensure safety and optimal performance
Perform minor repairs using hand tools and power tools
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively
Collaborate with team members to prioritize routes and respond swiftly to changing weather conditions

Qualifications




Prior experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators or similar construction equipment is preferred
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs on tools and equipment
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in outdoor maintenance tasks
Construction experience or background in outdoor maintenance is advantageous
Ability to work outdoors in cold weather conditions for extended periods
Strong attention to safety protocols and environmental considerations
