Senior SQL Server / Database Specialist

We are seeking a Senior SQL Server / Database Specialist with solid hands-on experience in enterprise database administration, HA/DR, performance tuning, and application integration.

Must Have
Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server 2019, 2022, and 2025 .
Experience with SQL Server Failover Clustering and Always On Availability Groups .
Experience with SQL Server upgrades , backup/recovery, HA/DR, and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with at least one of Oracle 19c, DB2/Windows, or DB2/zOS .
Experience designing and implementing REST API integrations and best practices.
Experience with middleware, gateways, application monitoring, and enterprise application support .
Experience with change/release management , troubleshooting, and production support.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication,



and documentation skills.
Experience working in an Agile environment and with cross-functional technical teams.

Nice to Have
Mainframe technology experience.
Advanced performance tuning and query/index optimization.
Robust disaster recovery and HA/DR implementation experience.
Experience with OPS security standards and policies .

Key Responsibilities Administer and optimize SQL Server environments, support clustering and Always On, perform upgrades and troubleshooting, implement REST integrations, support releases/patching, resolve database and application issues, and provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer.
