Join the City of Mississauga as a Sports Instructor I, focusing on Archery, Pickleball, and Karate. Support participants in developing their physical skills through engaging classes. As a Sports Instructor I, you will be instrumental in planning and executing sports programs for diverse age groups.
The role includes mentoring participants while ensuring safety and fostering a fun learning workplace. Candidates should possess positive leadership and customer service abilities along with a keen understanding of the various sports. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality instruction in various sports
Assess and guide participants during their training
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
Complete necessary administrative duties consistently
Communicate effectively with participants and volunteers Requirements:
Minimum age: 16 by September 26, 2026
At least one year of relevant coaching experience
HIGH FIVE® Principles certification is required
Intermediate First Aid or equivalent certification needed
