Bring your skills to Fraser Health as a Full time Rehabilitation Assistant at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, B.C. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive support for patient recovery through Nursing and Therapy.

The Rehabilitation

Assistant will work collaboratively with an interprofessional team, including Registered Nurses and Therapists, until May 2027. You will implement treatment plans, assist patients with daily activities, and monitor their progress. This position calls for effective communication skills and the ability to engage patients actively in their rehabilitation journey. Key Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans under direction of therapists and nursing
Document patient cognitive and functional changes consistently




Assist in training patients on the use of assistive devices
Prepare therapeutic treatments as assigned by PT/OT
Maintain therapy supplies and suggest recent purchases Requirements:
Must have completed a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or similar
Excellent communication abilities, verbal and written
Physical ability to execute job tasks effectively
Must be able to organize and prioritize assigned duties
Familiarity with therapeutic equipment operation Utilize your rehabilitation skills and enhance patient care at Fraser Health’s Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock.
