Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Advisor to champion safety initiatives across our construction projects. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and monitor safety protocols to ensure a secure setting for all team members, contractors, and visitors. Your expertise will help foster a culture of safety excellence, minimize risks, and uphold compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Duties
Conduct comprehensive site inspections to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety policies
Develop and implement safety procedures tailored to specific construction activities and environments
Provide ongoing safety training sessions for employees, contractors, and visitors to promote awareness and best practices
Investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution
Maintain accurate records of safety audits, inspections, training sessions, and incident reports




Stay current with industry safety standards, regulations, and emerging best practices to continuously improve site safety protocols

Qualifications
Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of construction site operations and hazards
Familiarity with construction management software for tracking safety compliance and reporting
Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams and convey safety expectations clearly
Ability to identify potential risks proactively and implement effective mitigation strategies
Certification in occupational health and safety or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and reporting
