POSITION SUMMARY:The Benefits and Pension Administrator will support the Manager, Pension & Benefits in the administration of SE Health’s benefits/pension programs. This role plays an important part in contributing to employee engagement by providing exceptional customer service and accurate/prompt resolution to benefits/pension-related inquiries and concerns.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Benefits & Pension AdministrationComplete monthly benefit and pension reviews to identify employees who meet eligibility requirements and prepare enrollment packagesComplete daily benefits processing including enrollments, terminations and plan changesEnter benefits related data in the HRIS (PeopleSoft and Workday); ensure data is entered accurately and on a timely basisAdminister the Leave of Absence (LOA) process and send benefits and pension communicationAdminister the Pre-authorized Debit (PAD) process and manage the benefits premiums reconciliation process with Payroll and employeesCustomer ServiceAct as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries regarding benefits and pension program eligibility and enrolmentProvide exceptional customer service and accurate/prompt resolution to employee concernsReportingReview a variety of weekly reports, apply appropriate benefit plan changes and prepare communications for:Benefits TerminationsChange of StatusNew HiresLeave of AbsenceOtherParticipate in special projects and perform other duties as requiredUpdate and maintain the benefits and pension administration job aidsQUALIFICATIONS:Post-secondary education with 1 to 2 years of HR/advantages administration experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
