Assistant role focuses on supporting and guiding students in environmental design. The Faculty of Architecture is looking for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator for its Introduction to Environmental Design course. This part time role requires 3.25 hours of weekly commitment, engaging in lesson preparation and grading assignments. Ideal for students pursuing a career in education, this position will allow you to interact closely with learners. Key Responsibilities:
Participate in planning and coordination meetings for the course
Prepare and deliver instructional materials in various settings
Mark students' work, midterms, and final exams
Offer students scheduled consultation times for academic support
Assist in additional duties like audiovisual development and field experiments Requirements:
Completion of relevant academic studies or experience
Ability to empathize with students’ instructional needs
Proficient communication skills in English
Must be a full time enrollment student at University of Manitoba
