We are looking for an enthusiastic Optometric Assistant/ Optician to join our team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for medical pre-testing, history taking, front desk, glasses selection and sales and assisting our doctors. Responsibilities
Eyewear Sales
Pre-testing, dispensing, reception and coordinating with team members
Repairing and adjusting patients’ eyewear
Medical testing including OCT scans, auto refraction, visual fields and corneal topography
Frame and lens selections

The Successful Candidate
Is passionate about customer experience and is a great communicator in the English language




Previous optometric/optical experience (please do not apply unless you have experience with optometric pretest OR glasses sales)
Has a flair for fashion and the latest style trends and is interested in glasses
Is committed to excelling as a member of a high-performing team
Is able to multi-task in a fast-paced setting
Has good computer knowledge, including the Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of Visual-eyes is an asset
Is able to work in Canada immediately
