Schools as a Mental Health Wellness Coach, supporting addiction prevention and mental health for children and families. This part time position is community-focused and team-oriented. Working with the Mental Health Capacity Building Initiative, you will develop programs aimed at improving mental wellness for youth.

Your role involves engaging with students, staff, and families, fostering an understanding of mental health challenges. This essential team member will also provide referral support for specialized services and assist in community outreach collaborations. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based wellness programs in schools
Build partnerships with families and community agencies
Lead educational workshops and presentations
Maintain program records for evaluation purposes
Ensure compliance with health regulations and policies Requirements:
Relevant post-secondary degree in social sciences
At least 2 years of relevant experience in mental health
Knowledge of community resources and networks
Solid communication and problem-solving skills
Flexibility to adapt to community needs Make a positive impact on youth mental health as part of a dedicated team.
