Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services Corporation is seeking a dedicated Gladue Caseworker to serve Indigenous clients in Thunder Bay or Kenora. This full time role involves guiding clients through the Gladue process and connecting them to community resources. With a focus on Indigenous cultural awareness, you will assist with fulfilling Gladue report recommendations effectively.
Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of five years’ experience in social or justice services. Proven case management and communication skills are crucial for this impactful role. Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of Gladue report recommendations
Provide timely referral to essential community services
Manage case files and deadlines efficiently
Work flexible schedule to meet client needs
Facilitate group sessions and encourage client engagement Requirements:
Community College diploma or University degree preferred
5+ years of experience in social/justice services
Strong knowledge of Indigenous culture and judicial framework
Explicit CPIC and Vulnerable Sector Clearance required
